Description:

Rudraksha is a large evergreen tree that can grow up to 60-80 feet. Its leaves are simple, elliptical, and serrated with a greenish-yellow hue, and its flowers are small and white with fringed petals. The tree produces a fruit with a hard, rough-textured seed, commonly known as the Rudraksha bead, which is used traditionally in Ayurveda and spiritual practices. Rudraksha beads are often classified based on their “mukhi” or the number of faces they have.

Occurrence:

Rudraksha trees are primarily found in the Himalayan regions of Nepal, India, and Tibet, as well as in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Southeast Asia.
