Precaution

  • Kanchanar  Guggul  may be avoided by pregnant and lactating mothers.    
  • For children, this preparation must be given only under medical supervision.  
  • Guggul might slow down blood clotting and result in excess bleeding in people with clotting disorders.  Thus one must disclose such medications to the doctor before consuming herbal preparations for benefits.
  • Guggul might result in an increase in LDL (bad cholesterol) in people with excess cholesterol levels.3  Thus must be avoided by people with cholesterol related issues.

  • Mahayograj Guggul has antispasmodic action due to magnesium based Abhrak Bhasma. 
  • It also contains other ingredients such as Guggul, Rajat Bhasma and triphala, which helps reducing tenderness, muscle pain and tiredness. 
  • It is more effective when it is used with Ashwagandha powder or Ashwagandharishta.

Indication

Yograj Guggul is the most effective Guggulkalpa indicated in Vata Vyadhis (neurological, musculoskeletal disorders). It is warming, digestive, and detoxifying in nature. It has anti-inflammatory, Vatahar and pain relieving the action. It shows a beneficial effect in arthritis, gout, degenerative diseases of joints due to excess vata, rheumatoid arthritis, back pain, etc.

Precaution

  • There are no known side effects with this medicine. However it is best to use this product under medical supervision. Self medication with this medicine is discouraged.
  • Very high dose than prescribed may lead to stomach irritation.

Gout arthritis, skin diseases, anorectal diseases, non-healing ulcers.

Vatari Guggul

Ingredient

  • Vatari taila – Castor oil
  • Shuddha Gandhaka
  • Triphala – Haritaki – Terminalia chebula, Vibhitaki – Terminalia bellirica, Amla – Emblica officinalis
  • Guggulu – Purified Commiphora mukul.

Dosage

The recommended dosage of Vatari Guggul is 1 tablets, twice or thrice a day. You can take this medicine safely for 2-3 months. Always take in the recommended dosage. Overdose can produce many side-effects.
